Revolution - Mitchell Street

Image
Revolution have 2 locations in Glasgow, but for the purpose of this blog I will be focusing on the Mitchell Street location. Revolution, often nicknamed 'Rev', is an upbeat modern cocktail bar which is definitely one of the city's hot spots in terms of bars. The vast selection of drinks and food options make Revolution a go to for sure.    Background Revolution is located at 84 Mitchell Street, meaning it is only a very short walk from both Argyll Street train station and also Glasgow Central train station. The accessibility of this venue adds to the popularity of it as people enjoy the convenience of its location. The bar itself is very big, I would even go as far to say as its one of the biggest in the city. Due to the sheer size of the place you are always more than likely to find a space, because even if the upstairs is totally filled, the venue has a downstairs section too.  Revolution again caters to a mixed crowd and anyone can attend for a fun place to drink. They

LA VITA SPUNTINI

Next, I will be reviewing one of the most photographic dining spots and the best Italian tapas restaurants Glasgow has to offer, La Vita Spuntini. Background Despite having two locations I will be reviewing Spuntini located at 40 Gordon Street, which is in the perfect location in the heart of the city straight across from Glasgow Central Station and a central spot where you have a vast choice of bars surrounding to go for drinks after or if you’re looking to catch a quick bite before grabbing the train. Spuntini is well known for its standout cherry blossom theme which is carried throughout both restaurants. The décor has made Spuntini a popular influencer dining spot where they can get cool pictures along with delicious Italian food.  It is an extremely busy restaurant, and most times needs to be booked a couple weeks in advance because of the amazing service, choice of drinks and the endless food options. Every time I have visited Spuntini I have left with a smile on my face and ha

The Social On The Square

Image
This blog aims to educate people on both the restaurants and bars of Glasgow using my own personal experience, and in doing this I hope at least one person gains the knowledge they are looking for regarding any of these places they may intent to visit.  The Social on the square, more commonly known simply as The Social, is one of Glasgow's most sought after bars. This is due to a combination of factors including location, entertainment, drinks variety and many more. The bar is located at 27 Royal Exchange Square right next to the Royal Art Gallery. The location of The Social is classed as one of the most prime locations anywhere in the city, with the amount of different shops, restaurants etc, the Royal Exchange Square is a hot spot within the city.          Background The Social is one of the most popular bars in Glasgow and has a very central location which makes it convenient to visit. It is open both during the day and at night and is very popular no matter the time. At the wee

Topolabamba - Mexican Street Food

Image
Topolabamba is arguably one of most popular and in my opinion, the best restaurants in Glasgow.  The restaurant is located in the city centre at 89 Saint Vincent Street. With it being only a 3 minute walk from Glasgow Central train station, it is very accessible and handy for those looking for convenience. The location of it also places you within walking distance of nearby sight seeing and tourist locations.    Background As previously mentioned, Topolabamba is definitely one of the best places to eat in Glasgow and in my opinion, you won't get better Mexican food anywhere else. The street food style alongside the rustic décor creates a very inviting and comfortable experience.  The biggest downside is the fact it is so busy! From the price point being very affordable for the quality of food you are getting, to the unique frozen homemade cocktails, to the lively busy atmosphere, all the boxes are ticketed for an enjoyable place to eat.  Menu The Menu has its own unique aspect to
